FOR ME, THIS RESTAURANT IS AN IMPORTANT TOURIST ATTRACTION IN ISTANBUL ! 5 stars for sure Best KOFTE I have eaten in my life. I waited about 10 minutes in line to enter the restaurant, but that was worth it. Prices are affordable, tasty food, location is perfect, next to Sultanahmet Mosque. A very nice experience

The spicy sauce is worth with the kofte. Tried the lamb once also. But there signature dish is worth to try many times. This place is Cash only.
Visited this location after visiting the area. The staff are very friendly and speaks English. Simple menu offering the traditional Kofte, grilled meatballs and also a lamb dish. I have the Kofte, very simple flavor but delicious. I also ordered the Bean salad. It comes with a very crusty bread. I enjoyed it very much and the Aryan drink goes very well with the dish. Affordable prices considering its in the touristy area.
Famous kebab shop in Istanbul. Works only for takeout due to pandemic. Reasonable prices for quality and deliciousness. Must visit while in Istanbul
Lovely place with good prices (much appreciated if you have been going to the restaurants in the area, where they follow you down the street or they increase the prices if you are a tourist) This place has a simple but good menu with fix prices. They have 2 lamb dishes and some nice sides. I strongly recommend the rice pudding to those with a sweet tooth. Nice traditional authentic place. Menu is in English.
I visited the restaurant for the first time nine years ago and nothing has changed since then. It is one of the few places I step in every time I visit Istanbul. It’s pretty crowded while lunch time, especially from locals. Go for the standard deal – tender grilled meatballs, served with a pickled pepper or three, a spicy tomato sauce and a bowl of crusty white bread. If you’re really hungry, a side of house piyaz (white beans with onions in olive oil) goes down well. To drink? Look no further than a creamy glass of ayran, a traditional salted yoghurt drink that is the perfect accompaniment to the köfte. I also recommend the lentil soup as a starter, as well as the thick yoghurt made from buffalo milk. Watch out - only cash is accepted.
One of the most Iconic stops for lunch while touring in the historic old town of Istanbul.
Came here because I wanted good kofte and good kofte I had!
