One of the nicest places to eat in Sultan Ahmet district. Beautiful scenic outdoor seating, great on summer days as it is cool in the shade plus calm ambience at night. Service is friendly, food is lovely and prices very reasonable. Layout of the cafe ensures there is enough space, it does not become too crowded and each table has ample privacy. They also have live whirling dervish performances every Thursday with a vocal artist, which is an absolute treat. Would highly recommend this place, and it's even better before peak season! (N.B. If you love cats, there are plenty of furry four-legged thieves here who find their way to your table. You can ignore them but if you feed them once, they will wait by you for the next mouthful! :)

Very unique atmosphere. The dervish dance was mesmerising and enjoyable. For those who do Shisha you can smoke while enjoying the al fresco twirling dervishes. Highly spiritual

Eat well for a low price at this pristine location - right next to the two architectural marvels of the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque (Sultanahmet) - I had two chicken wraps, my friends also loved the beef wraps and plates. Also very easy to split the bill, and they take credit cards.

Again, as in a lot of places they charge you way more, then you need to go item by item asking them why, etc. Not fair to spend your energy on a discussion like this in the middle of your holidays. The bill was 100 they charged 180.

Very nice place. I ordered chicken shinitzel and got 2 pcs of chicken. Amazing. The atmosphere is truly something you need to see and feel. Words don't really describe the feeling when your there.

It's a great place to spend time. Shisha is the best in Istanbul. Food and Service is top class. Yakup and everyone at Dervish are very polite and friendly. It is definitely a place one should visit in Istanbul and it's only yards away from Sultan Ahmed Mosque.
