if you love yarn THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO! I expected a yarn shop. what I got was a dozen or more shops filled with yarn from the floor up to the ceiling. the pictures that are already posted here speak for themselves. go and buy as much as you can carry because you'll not only love the choices but especially the prices!!! the yarn here costs only a fraction of what you pay in other countries! everyone who knits or crochets (or does macramee or embroidery): YOU HAVE TO VISIT THIS PLACE! it's seems a little difficult to find. download the map of Istanbul so that you can use it even when offline. activate gps and follow the dots. google will lead you to a market and when it seems as if you've arrived you'll wonder where the yarn is... look between the market stalls! there's a small entrance that will lead you to stairs on the left and right. climb those stairs up and you're in yarn heaven!
