We really struggled at this restaurant. There was a language barrier and they didn't have any menus (printed or digital).

The food and ambiance was good but we left our belongings inside the car and some thousand Turkish Lira was stollen. So be careful with the car valet there.

We found this incredible restaurant online! It is amazing. The food and staff are wonderful. This is our last night in Istanbul an Agora has given us a wonderful good bye. We will return!

This is a really nice authentic place with a romantic history. The food is great, we had a very fresh sea fish and some meses, which were all very delicious. The waiter Mahmud is a very nice person, he was very helpful and friendly and really made us feel very comfortable during the evening. Definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a good restaurant in Balat.

Excellent place!! we ate there for the NYE dinner. Staff was very cordial, and Mahmut was in particular very helpful and polite with us and all the staff was quick in serving and very prone to satisfy our requests. Definitely the best place we visit during our 7day trip in istanbul.
