Fantastic experience! Jon was a brilliant guide and instructor and took us on a picture perfect route up to the Quinta Do Lago bridge. Really calm conditions which were perfect for beginners and we enjoyed the stop on the way back to enjoy the delicious watermelon juice and the beautiful sunset on the beach. The equipment was excellent quality and very new. Highly recommended; you are in safe hands with Zen.

I thoroughly enjoyed my morning with John. This was my first time paddling boarding and won’t be my last. John is the expert when it comes to judging the winds and waves as well. So much fun and relaxing at the same time.
Had such a great time with Zen Sup! Me & my partner hadn’t sup’d before so last minute booked a lesson whilst in the Algarve for a week. John & Heike are great teachers & guides & we were happily paddling around the Ria Formosa (which is also a stunning place to learn) in no time. We loved it so much we booked straight onto the Sunrise Bengali your the following morning, which was absolutely magical. Getting up at 4.45 was a struggle, but being there with the sun rising, alone on the beaches & caves before the hoards arrived was magical & every bit worth the early start. I really can’t recommend it enough. Thanks so much again John (and Heike) for a great few days & a great introduction to SUPing (as well as a very special addition to our trip). We’ll be back....

The best way to explore the Algarve coastline! We have been out with John in the early morning to explore the cliffs and caves between Benagil and Albandeira. To explore this area in the early morning in its natural beauty without tourist crowds and noisy boats was a stunning experience! John is not only a nice personality, but also a great and reliable guide! Therefore, Zen SUP is my recommendation to explore the coastlines of Algarve!
