The food was just okay, nothing impressive. The staff was nice but the service was not great, our waitress messed up our order twice. The only reason giving two stars is because of the location and we had were givin a free bottle of wine.

exceptional service with friendly staff! the fish cataplana was absolutely delicious, white wine was superb too. not sure what all the complaints below are from but we came at 1pm, and there were still quite a bit of people. highly recommend!
Great food, you cannot go wrong with the seafood rice. Pretty solid location, right downtown and the building looks great. Outstanding staff, incredibly nice. We stopped for lunch after leaving our accommodation and before our train departure. The owner let us keep our (quite substancial) baggage in the restaurant and go for a stroll in the town for several hours. He did not have to, but that is true Portuguese hospitality for you right there.
5 stars because I cant find anything to pick on. The food was great, we were seated very quickly, our drinks and order was taken and we were given food very quickly. One thing that really stood out is that normally we have an extra chair brought over since we are a family of 5, but this time we were given another table and 2 chairs. This was very pleasant. The staff was very friendly, especially the man who seated us and the waitress who were keen to talk to my 5 year old brother who was mesmerised by the lobsters in the tank. Once things got busy the owner arrived and what I liked is that he was working. He took immediate control and told the staff what to do when and where. We were given the bill very quickly, quicker than usual. We payed 78 euro for a 5 main courses and everyone was satisfied. The portions are of good size and of good value. Decent choice of wines and beers.
Pushy and kind of rude owner at the front door that only talks to our lady friend and the food was not good at all and they tried to rip us off with the bill n and doubling the price and make stuff up on the bill
We had lunch here. The omelet with cheese was really nice. The chicken piri piri was also really tasty. Especially the deserts were really nice.
I had a mix of fishes for 12 euros, was good and was a fair price. I saw they many other options and many of them are really expensive.
Finally a place that made me feel in a restaurant. The customer service is fantastic! The waiter there makes total difference... 5 star to him!! The food is very good! 100% recommended!!!
