Lovely well kept place to visit, free entry and lots of parking space. You will probably only spend an hour or so here looking around but it's still worth a trip. There is a park with a great playground nearby if you want to have a picnic or a linger visit

Terrific castle with a great history. Very well maintained. Fantastic views from the top of the Keep. Very informative Exhibition Centre. Carpark and toilets. Free entry. Well worth a visit. An English Heritage site.

I was really lucky with the weather. It hasn't started raining yet. The castle keep was beautiful
