Booked here on the basis that it was dog friendly. We weren’t disappointed! On top of being easily the most dog friendly pub I have ever visited, the food was AMAZING! the staff were lovely, even putting up with a defensive woofing fit from my dog. The atmosphere was relaxed and the fire gave the place a warm, welcoming feel. Our portion sizes were generous to say the least and I will definitely be visiting the Farmers Arms again in future. Too class food and service!

So friendly! Safe & very clean pub, spotless toilets! We ordered fish and chips, & I can honestly say, it was THE BEST batter I've ever had (& I'm 50 now)! Well done chef! Lovely staff! We stayed in our camper in the carpark. Thank you!
Smashing cosy pub with log burner, tables separated for privacy, decor in good condition, outside tables well away from very quiet approach road so no traffic noise and plenty of car parking. Only improvement I could see would be to add a front door closer to keep out the cold winter air when patrons leave door open.
Big portion roast and good atmosphere and friendly staff. We came here based on good google reviews and it advertised the food is from local produce . However the roast potatoes tasted like they were from frozen packages and Yorkshire puddings were pre-cooked and the beef was so so. I felt a bit disappointed by the food quality.
A proper pub, not a gastro pub. In other words, a proper pub that has excellent food. Large outdoor area and a traditional inside bar area combined dining space.
