Took my car for an MOT last year and was failed on the rear brakes. I was told needed fitting kits for the rear drums as the adjusters had failed. Fair enough, and since I was too busy to do the work myself I paid up and waited for the call. When I picked up my car I had a valid MOT, but quickly found out the brakes were not right. No hand-brake and greatly reduced rear braking. Took it back and they re-adjusted it, though provided no explanation as how they gave me an MOT pass with it quite clearly FUBAR. Fast forward to this year, and I've been failed again on the rear brakes. COVID means I have more time at home, so opted to take a look myself. Lo and behold they only replaced the adjuster on one side of the car, and on the other side I still have a broken adjuster. So they charged me for kit they never fitted, and on the brakes of all things leaving me with an unsafe car.

Left the car with them for the MOT last week and collected it only few days later as my wife were in a hospital giving a birth. Stiff was friendly and understanding. But wnen I came to collect the car it had a big chip and the lacquer came of on the bonnet! Guys were trying to say that they don't know anything, they have to check and so on... The guy at the till took some photos of the damage and said theat the regional manager is going to be in touch with ne on Monday. And guess what... no calls, no shows, just nothing. I wonder how many more cars they damaged and then just do nothing with it. Try to avoid at any cost. As the chip is quit big for me its now full bonnet respray. And the company that is liable for damaging it is just keeping quite! AVOID AT ANY COST IFBYOU WANT YOUR CAR TO BE SAFE!
