Farmbox Greens Reviews | Rating 3 out of 5 stars (3 reviews)

Farmbox Greens is located in Seattle, United States on 3800 1st Ave S. Farmbox Greens is rated 3 out of 5 in the category corporate office in United States. Farmbox is dedicated to changing where and how great produce is grown. Since planting our first seeds in 2011, our team has created a sustainable urban farm where the harvest cycle is days, not months. Our hydroponic, vertical farm uses 90 percent less water than traditional agriculture, is pesticide and herbicide free, and we harvest tender microgreens daily, regardless of season. We use energy efficient LED lights and in our fully climate controlled facility to consistently produce the freshest greens that can be to your plate within hours of harvest. From our Seattle farm located in the SODO neighborhood we supply microgreens to local marketplaces and hundreds loyal restaurants all over the Pacific Northwest. At Farmbox Greens we work hard because we believe that food should be grown responsibly, locally, and taste delicious. Farmbox Greens is a division of Charlies Produce.

Farmbox greens are not organic, overpriced and not as good for the environment as they would lead you to believe. They treat their employees poorly and they spray their product with mold inhibitors. The packages are small and the Hydroponic greens lack the flavor of other comparable products. I recommend supporting small localized farms like tight5 or bikerogreens that actually care about the quality and environmental impact of their operations.

Poor quality - product is usually wet and sometimes yellow. 5 for a 2 oz. box of micro-greens (ouch!), non-organic. Try other producers in Seattle (like Tight 5, Girly Girl) and you'll taste the difference and not pay over 5 (after tax) for a couple ounces of garnish.
