Fab, friendly cafe. Good food, fair prices. Extremely clean. Toilets kept immaculate. There is also a farm shop next door with great local produce. Plenty of parking front and back, dog friendly.

What can i say... Made some changes in here since last year. 1, the old menu boards are gone and have been replaced with gray easy to read ones and the menu has been simplified which includes popular dishes like the ham egg beans and chips. Food was cheap and good quality, it came to our table within 10 minutes and was hot and ready to eat. With covid-19 regulations in place there was markers on the floor and screens up, tables were also being cleaned after every use. The toilets were clean and being looked after regularly too. Although it doesn’t look the best from the outside, once you get inside it completely changes. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who is passing by.

Your average bacon, sausage and egg bap. Typical roadside food. Priced reasonably. Seriously, seriously upset to see an elderly lady in front of me told she had to buy something to use the loo despite being near tears and stating it’s an emergency. Global pandemic or otherwise, toilets should be throughly and regularly cleaned and with correct social distancing signage in place, surely one extra person having a whizz really wouldn’t have harmed anyone. I used the fabled toilet code on my food receipt and was pleased to find perfectly serviceable and clean toilets. She even offered to pay but had her money in the car. Staff concerned about strong repercussions from management for letting non customers use toilets. I handed the cashier a quid so the lady could get the code. A charming little roadside place but distressing treatment of an elderly lady genuinely saddened me so I shan’t return

Been using the farm cafe for many years when travelling past. It has always had charm, but today we stopped for a cuppa and asked if we could warm up our granddaughters ready meal whilst we were there. Simple answer was no because the microwave was high powered. No alternatives given. I am afraid that will be the last time I visit.
