It started with indo-german project to spread the knowledge of engineering in INDIA estd in 1960.Today it is 1st ranked university across haryana state in INDIA and many of it alumni are achieved heights in their career. Every year Many of students try to get admission in this university but only few can make it possible. Highly recommended for engineering studies.

The university is good for engineering specially for Computer Science branch. The campus is big enough. The crowd was good. They have fairly big auditorium and sport facility. Canteen was also good. There are 2 canteens and one dairy inside the campus. The campus is lush green near a metro station. It is accessible as metro stations are nearby , also auto rickshaws are also available there.

Infrastructure not so good but better educational environment, labs and workshops. In terms of education and degree, its a nice choice. Faculties are upto the mark but in some cases they become lazy. Most of them have highly experienced. In terms of placements, every year most of the B.tech students get placed in best private companies. The placements cell is also making efforts for the best of students, also most of the students get best packages. In the near future, it will surely become even more better than now.
