I went late, so they were out of the two kinds of pizza slices I wanted (that’s on me). I really didn’t want to like this place because I was sad about my first picks being out, but dang. This pizza is amazing. When I say you can’t go wrong, you really can’t. Better than a lot of the NY style I’ve had *in* NY, it’s so delicious. Will definitely be coming back, a lot!

Gotta say... one of the best NY slices in Denver. Big fan of the pepperoni slice and also love the grandma style slice (with pepperoni, of course). A slice or two from the window is plenty for one. But if you go for a pie, get ready for a pie so big it probably doesn’t fit in the door. Not saying that’s a bad thing.
As someone who lived in NYC for 15 years and recently moved to Denver, THANK YOU, Famous J’s for fulfilling the craving of the NY slice. We had the pepperoni, meat lovers and pepperoni grandma slice. As soon as we had the first bite, we immediately regretted not getting a whole pie. The crust was nyc perfect, not sure if you transport the water in or whatever delicious tricks up your sleeves but whatever you’re doing, keep at it. Cannot wait to go back for a pie.
We were doing some work down on 23rd st. And the homeowners recommended this place to us. What a absolutely delicious pizza !! The garlic Knotts were really great too! The marinara sauce is to die for! They are doing it right!
One of the better NY style pizza joints in Denver, but it doesn't quite match up with what you'd expect to find from your local pizza spot back east. If the crust was just a tiny bit thicker it'd be great.
