All the fish is fried so if you're looking for a healthy choice, this is not for you. However, the food is very good. Its not too oily or salty and taste pretty fresh. This place is a little hole in the wall and has been here for over 40 years. If in the area, I would definitely recommend stopping by.

This place is a Harlem jewel and is been here for over 50 years. They fry everything fresh and you can taste that. I had the fish, shrimp, fries combo and everything was tasty. Their batter is delicious and the shrimp was crispy and cooked to perfection. You might have to wait a little for your food but it is worth it.
Awesome and yummy food, I liked the ambience the place has, and the workers were super nice. Will definitely come back.
I am NEVER disappointed with the food from famous. The wait could be a little long sometimes, however the kind friendly professional staff makes up for that and like I said Never disappointed with the food. Delicious
