My family and I came all the way from Algonquin IL for ribs from your restaurant this past Thursday Sept 17, 2020. The Algonquin location is closed. We ordered the 5 lb tip special with a half dozen of corn bread muffins and a side of pickled onions. Everything was delicious. While I was finishing up the pickled onions at close to the bottom of the bowl was a large roach. I was highly disgusted and disappointed.

It was just nice to get out and eat somewhere other than my hotel room. The burger was very tasty and came as advertised. Our waitress was very friendly, knowledgeable, and prompt. Only negative was that my bun was a little hard (possibly stale) than I would have liked. Overall a great experience.
Extremely busy. We dined-in. Staff was nice but it was just too busy to give patrons much attention. Food was good but I have had better BBQ. I'm not opposed to eating there again but it won't be my first choice. Good BBQ is so subjective, so give a try for yourself.
They get five stars on the brisket alone. This is probably the best franchised BBQ joint I can think of. And I love their St. Louis ribs. Awesome
I went here on Valentine's day with my GF the food was decent but the reason I'm rating one star is because the waitress named Carolyn .. there's another number aside her name 1021 assuming that's her employee number. I finished eating and got the bill i paid it with card and tipped 10 in cash and wrote 0 in the bill since I tipped in cash my order was 55 and I check my bank statement a few days after and it shows 60 . I don't appreciate shady practices from your staff especially when I tipped her in cash when it isn't Mandatory and then for her to be greedy and try to charge my card an additional 5. I called the restaurant and couldn't get a hold of someone to help me and they said the manager \shaun\ would contact me which he didn't . I want my money back that I tipped and I want those additional 5 to be refunded since it wasn't authorized also what you do with your staff is on your company but I would suggest taking disciplinary action for her taking extra money from customers. I have the receipt and bank statement as proof.
