Imagine for a moment your in lockdown, your business is pretty empty and you have no idea if tourists will turn up in summer, then an enthuasitic local whose taken to sailing offers to moor his yacht for a year and even pay for a tender berth, you'd obviously be grateful for the business in such a buyers market? No not haven, they dont want locals at all, they are prepared to stay empty for 9 months so they can fleece the tourists. An complete and utter disgrace, they now stand to deny other local businesses potential earnings. They are turning away their own community and IN 2017 they even ran at a 200000 LOSS! So sadly it seems the tourist are going to end up paying more and more. If i was running falmouth haven i'd be calling back the client and begging for forgiveness over the misunderstanding, id also give the senior position a disciplinary hearing for failing to accept custom followed by 2 years of training in customer service every single monday morning and friday afternoon. Afterall i did have 30 years of business to offer... Absolute shambles, an insult to mariners. I am generating as much income as possible as i plan to acquire the lease and turn this failure around. Whereby everyone would be welcome on a first come first serve basis with prebooking available. These \waiting list lies\ are discrimination. Facist pigs

En route from Plymouth to Spain in July 2019, we were forced to put into Falmouth with technical problems. Stayed at Falmouth Yacht Haven for 3 nights whilst problems were fixed. Very friendly and super helpful staff who went the extra mile for us. We're now in Spain but would definitely go back to the Yacht Haven if ever back in Falmouth. Highly recommended!
The harbour master must have had a bad day however I do not consider that justification, he was by far the most unhelpful and unpleasant we have ever met.
I have stayed at Falmouth haven a few times and always had courteous service. Whether on the pontoons or a mooring buoy, thank you
