Got a dozen dumplings that I mixed and matched and black milk tea. Was a fun lunch, very tasty food! This is the kind of local business we need to support. I’ll be back for some soup dumplings next time!

My friends and I placed a large order to go and we were really pleased with our experience. We ordered the soup dumplings, chicken/pork dumplings, pan fried lemon grass dumplings, pork with shrimp dumplings, pan fried bao and the kale dumplings. They clearly have a nice wide variety of dumplings for everyone. I personally loved the kale, lemon grass and baos. They were seasoned really well and the textures were on point. I think we all agreed the baos are a must order! They reminded me of the Taiwanese pork and scallion pies. Service here is great as you call and pick up in 15-30 minutes. Portion size and price are reasonable. Soup dumping wise I may hold off and see if you can just eat it there if possible with current conditions.
I don't even want to review this place because I'm afraid of ruining it. She offers a variety of potstickers, pan fried bao, and Xiao long bao (soup dumpling). They are all fantastic; seriously we haven't tried anything we didn't like. Our favorites are the soup dumplings and the pan fried beef bao which come topped with black sesame seeds and are so meaty, savory, and balanced you can basically make a meal of them and some greens. The soup dumplings are some of the best, if not the best we've found in the local area, and we try XLB pretty much whenever we can. We favor the pork and beef potstickers over the chicken ones. The dipping sauces are tasty, fresh, and well balanced (we go for the spicy). Seems like a family business, with the same woman working hard every time we pick-up and a team of off-site dumpling makers behind her. She steams or pan fries your handmade dumplings, packs, and works the register all with excellent COVID safe practices. Take out or delivery only for the moment.
I got all of their popular dumplings (pork, lemon chicken, BBQ beef, and boa) the Boa are what gave this place their stars! I didn’t much care of the other dumplings and they put corn in them which I was surprised about. The Boa was really good and will come back when I’m craving them. I placed an online order and when I came in no one was at the counter. I looked over the counter seeing someone hiding away playing on their phone too busy to look up and greet me. My dumplings weren’t done so I waited outside and came back a few mins later and AGAIN no one was at the counter I waited and no one came so I took my order from the counter and left..
My girlfriend and I got about 8 different types of dumplings and loved them all. She also got a hot black milk tea which was just the right amount of sweet. Great snack while we waited for our car service across the street!
