Staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to make shopping a pleasant experience. Just like other bargain shops, the merchandise varies from cheap to reasonably priced. Is wheelchair accessible from the back, however, the isles are narrow... The store is open 7 days a week so it's easy to get what you need when you need it. Merchandise varies from scribblers to shelves, from books to boots. Very warm and has lots of sales year-round.
The Bargain Shop is a pretty neat place to go for a variety of generally low cost items. Unlike the Dollar Stores, Bargain Shop sells clothing, bedding, hardware, footware, cookware and food, all sorts of different chocolates, cookies, biscuits, crackers and the like. I pop in often and always find something new and of course I always like the chocolates.
