Beautiful place to walk round especially with the new promenade and path round the lake and the new adventure golf and children's play area Can't wait for all of the rest of the improvements to be finished its going to be fantastic

Recently rebuilt promenade allows easy walking along the seafront and round the lake. Ongoing landscaping (Dec 2020) and new linking paths will further enhance the area. The Spitfire memorial is very impressive.
Lovely place to walk around. Great for kids, you don't have to worry about traffic. Plenty of wildlife and people watching!
Really nice seafront for a walk with our dog, Mollie, a walk around the lake then hog roast sandwich, very nice
Lovely place to walk along. Sea one side, but also lake. Very relaxing. Children's play area. Summer time plenty to do, cafe open when allowed
