Very much appreciate the work of Dr. Urymura, he literally saved my life after a cyst was found .. was running late for follow up appointment and they still got me in. A 5 star well deserved.

They are lucky I don’t sue them for not providing adequate care. I came to Dr. Alavi because I had a positive TB blood test but a clear chest x-ray. Note that I am on a medication that is known to cause false positives. All of this considered, the doctor should have had the common sense to order another round of bloodwork to be sure. Instead, she wanted me to begin a nine month course of daily medication, which is very harsh on the liver. I went home perplexed at the whole situation. I called the office to voice my concerns and left a message. They never returned my call. Nearly a month later, I finally called again and I returned to the doctor to demand another blood test, which she fought me on doing. Finally, they got me the “most accurate test in existence today”. Nearly a week later, of course, no one had followed up so I called back for the results which were NEGATIVE. The nurse said, “because this test is so accurate, if it says you’re negative, you’re definitely negative.” So what would have happened if I had paid for nearly a year of medication or endured side effects, all for something I didn’t even have?? I’ll because Dr. Alavi was so eager to send me on my way with a prescription rather than considering my full health and care, and collect not one, but two office payments as a result. And when I got billed, even though they keep a credit card on file, they still sent me a physical bill which I had to pay. Then I see that they charged me twice!! Worst experience ever. Look at how many 1 star reviews they have and that says it all.

If you have Lyme or any tick borne disease go to an ILAD approved medical practice. Unfortunately you will have to pay out of pocket most of the time. There are many treatment options out there, but you won't get anything but Doxycycline here. No more treatment options as far as they are concerned. Save your time and money. Anyone can prescribe an antibiotic. You need a doctor that genuinely wants to heal. There has been lots of development in Lyme treatment in the past few years, this practice seems uninterested and not willing to work with you or help. They should read Dr. Richard Horowitz's books and medical papers but they have never heard of him.

I was running late to my initial appointment so I called the front desk to advise. They were accommodating and helped me with completing all forms upon arrival. Dr. Weinroth is an excellent physician and answered all my questions thoroughly.

Absolute worst!!! They don't return phone calls(even to Dr's). My oral surgeon called them 5 times over 3 days to speak to them without ever getting a response. I didn't have a choice as they are who saw me In the hospital, but if you have a choice go someplace else!!!!!!
