Dr. Jeffrey L. Hanway, MD

Dr. Hanway saved my life when I was 12 years old. If not for he and his incredible skill and care, I would, at best, be completely unable to walk, and at worst, be dead. Instead, I'm 31 years old, happily married, and still relatively mobile, (my condition was already very severe by the time it was discovered). Thank you, Dr. Hanway. I will always think so very highly of you.

Dr. Hanway was one of 3 surgeons we met with when I was needing my scoliosis corrected. He was the only one who made me comfortable and made me feel like he understood my fears as a 16 year old kid needing major life altering surgery. He never once put a foot wrong from start to finish. I remember a distinct pride in his presentation. He was *almost* cocky, which was such a relief that he was so confident and proud of his skills. I don’t want a shy, unsure surgeon. I want someone so confident that his pride is tangible when he speaks and that’s what Dr. Hanway offers. Absolute confidence in his skills. He has the best education in his corner. His bedside manner is second to none. I really can not recommend him highly enough. Dr. Hanway kept me out of a wheel chair and able to enjoy a healthy, normal and active life style when another surgeon had flat out said he was not able to fix my scoliosis. I absolutely trust him with my life and would recommend him to anyone who finds them self in need of surgery requiring these particular skills. Doubt you ever read this Dr. Hanway, but HUGE thanks! If you remember me at all, I made it back to Iowa and live a normal life driving race cars and managing an auto parts store, married with a 3 year old son. None of it was possible until you stepped in. Thanks for everything. Keep being the best in the field.

Practice moved to 3023 Hamaker Ct #500. Dr. Hanway quickly diagnosed my son's sports injury after months of observations by a sports specialist. I trust his judgment, skills, and knowledge as an orthopedist.
