Lisa is absolutely amazing! She helped with our fears and made the whole birthing process more clear at a time when I was extremely nervous. Her class goes through every step and contingency in the process of giving birth and even covers the basics of newborn baby care. She convinced my husband that he should be giving me daily back rubs-- you can't beat that. GW Hospital is lucky to have her there, she restored our faith in the hospital. Don't have a baby without taking this class. We can't thank you enough, Lisa!

My wife & I did the birthing class with Lisa and we both thought she was phenomenal, awesome teaching tactics plus great hands on experience. Although we may have been her first female couple, she welcomed us pleasantly. Everyone else just stared but we weren't bothered!!! You GO Lisa, your sharing from experience is a beautiful thang!
Had a great time! Lisa is full of energy and tons of information. I recommend all men take the birthing class with their signification other. I definitely feel more prepared for what to expect during labor and am a lot less nervous. Couldn't recommend it enough!
We had a wonderful time in class with Lisa! She answered any questions the group had and gave us loads of information on all methods of birth. Whether you are doing a natural birth or have a scheduled c-section she goes over all possibilities. Will deff be using ALL of her pain management recommendations. Look, for the guys reading this post I'm telling you to suggest Birthing Basics to your spouse. Lisa is extremely knowledgeable and professional (as a credentialed delivery nurse) and frankly the best for time/cost. We looked at these 24 hour seminars over 12 weeks. Nonetheless. Lisa will knock this out in a reasonable time - she's direct, grounded, and no nonsense. It's all content and practical information for helping you help your wife get through delivery.
