In the evening, unwind with a visit to one of Prague’s many beer gardens where beer is cheaper than water (fun even if you’re on a budget!) or attend a classical show at the National Theatre.

Reprezentativní novoklasicistní architektura budovy vychází z projektu Jana Kotěry z roku 1908, ale dokončením byl pověřen již za 1. rebubliky arch. Ladislav Machoň. Celá budova byla dokončena až v r. 1931. Tak byla realizována zmodernizovaná stavba, avšak některé umělecké součásti už nemohly být zhotoveny.
