I came again 19 March after the owner replied. I must said, the satay is really good. I ordered chicken and mutton, 20 sticks. Big chunks of meat, charred at the right spots. The meat was well marinated. The gravy had well-grounded peanuts. Texture goes well with the satay. It was one of the best satay I have tried. I will come again. I came today to try the satay. Today is Tuesday, 10th March 2020, now is 8.07pm.... But the stall is closed. It was stated that the stall is closed only on Wednesday. I came all the way and wasted my time.
I ordered the chicken, beef, mutton and tripe for dine in last week. The satay was fat and chunky. The mutton has fats in between that melts in your mouth. The gravy was fresh and perfectly textured. I asked them and they said they cook it daily. Superb!! Best satay and service yet!! Greatly recommended!
Went on 23rd August 2020 to do a takeaway. Stall mended by 2nd generation. Was told I had to wait for half an hour and I was fine about it coz I was a frequent customer of their parents. The satay I received later was cold and I was very disappointed. In trying to grow the business, they had forgotten the essence of satay making especially when i had ordered mutton. Mutton satay has a piece of fat in between and supposed to be served hot so that it has a melt in the mouth texture and since it was cold, the fat hardens.. meat was overcooked as well.. poor control of fire..
Very yummy satay! Peanut sauce is too watery, but it is okay for me because the satay goes well on its own, can go without the peanut sauce. Great find!
i traveled all the way there after hearing alot of friends saying good but not really fantastic i prefer others in east coast park and lau par sat coming from me i feel it deserve no star
