I cannot speak highly enough about the care and attention I received from my recent Eye examination test. All the staff were very professional, helpful and caring. It was the most thorough eye examination using the latest equipment. Exceptional care and attention on every detail. I honestly would recommend anyone thinking about an eye test to go there. You'll be writing a five star review to!

I was reminded about the time for my annual eye checkup by email, I arranged an appointment without any problem and the tests went very smoothly. The lady carrying out the tests was very thorough explained what was being done and discussed any issues clearly. I left feeling very happy with the results and confident that my eyes were in good hands.
My daughter had an eye examination today at Eye Smile Opticians and I cannot express how grateful I am to all the amazing staff for making us feel so safe during our visit. We were telephoned beforehand to do a consultation over the phone in order to shorten our appointment time face to face. When we arrived I was amazed by all the work that had been carried out during lockdown to prepare the opticians - it looks like a whole new shop with all safety and social distancing measures clearly in place. Our temperatures were taken, hands sanitised, all staff wore PPE and I observed them thoroughly cleaning constantly throughout our visit. We were asked to wear face coverings and the shop had no one else in there as the doors were locked during our appointment time and so timings are obviously being carefully planned and thought out. Even the frames on display are disinfected each time they are touched and tried on- my daughter tried on loads and staff reassured her constantly this was not a problem she could try as many as she needed and the ones she didn’t like were put aside to be cleaned. From someone who has found lockdown an exceptionally worrying and anxious time and with a child who has pretty much been isolated since March, I cannot express enough how comfortable and safe we felt the entire time. The customer care was still friendly, personal and exceptionally positive despite all these measures- which is a hard task and the appointment ran seamlessly from start to finish. Thank you so so much for all you have done- I always knew the customer service here was impeccable but today has really blown me away. You are keeping not only your customers safe, but also your lovely staff and the community and for that I am so grateful. My daughter is very much looking forward to coming back to collect her new glasses.
