My feelings on this location are mixed. While it has a decent store front and friendly staff, it's food isn't the best. The fish is mediocre - way too greasy and oily for my taste. The sausages are regular for an English fish and chip shop, stodgy and reconstituted meat that tastes alright. My biggest issue is the chips. When they aren't raw, they're soggy and disgustingly vinegar-ed. I have no issue with people who like this place, but it is beyond disgusting for my tastes despite the nice staff and presentable shop.

It's hit and miss with this shop.. Chips could do with more cooking time to crisp them and sadly yesterday the batter was very greasy, so would suggest that the oil needs to be hotter to save things bei g in the oil too long. On the whole a good shop and if not too oily, then food is lovely
