I went to this school many years ago back in 2013, yes you get a lot of information out of the school. But it’s defiantly not worth the money. It it is way to expensive to go to. Depending what job you get after graduating the school ur making about the same amount of money working at a fast food restaurant. And if you have loans to go to the school, you be working on paying it down for years to come. I’ve worked at multiple automotive shops in the past 8 years and looking back it was a complete waste of money going to this school. Most places highering you are only wanting to give you an entry level position starting at 11 to 12 dollars an hour if ur lucky, and you can be stuck at that level for a while. When I applied I couldn’t even get a job working in the shop, I got a job working as a sales associate up front, eventually I got store manager position and felt horrible for the new employees I highered when they told me they went to UTI. I got out of the automotive business because I wasn’t making enough money to pay my school bills. The school is way over priced for the automotive industry, and as for the automotive industry I think they need to pay there employees a livable wage. But if you go to this school, or going to this school now, get a job at a dealership not at a company like Goodyear, Firestone, pep boys or any company like this, and you may get a chance to be successful.

Great place to work, the staff care for each other and the students. They hired me out-of-college and within a year I got two awards and a temporary promotion. It can sometimes be really stressful though and if you're not careful, you can have too much work to cope with, but there will always be people to help you get the work done.

I graduated in October 2020 and I’m in the Volvo SAFE program now. I enjoyed my experience at UTI but overall I learned the very basic stuff and only how system work and not how to work on them. The teachers were very smart individuals and most were very kind and helpful people but the curriculum wasn’t worth the money. In my short time at the Volvo SAFE program I’ve learned more than my entire year at UTI. It’s a good school to be able to get into a dealership specific training but the core program isn’t very helpful. If you know how to work on cars don’t waste your money but if you don’t know anything about cars and would like to learn it can be helpful but be aware that you’re gonna learn very minimal about systems on the car, the rest you will have to learn out in the field which will be tough but if you’re determined then go for it.

Everything is all out of order here. I was given my schedule last second (3 days before class started). Not told where I was suppose to go or what I needed to wear. Got yelled at first day for not having a uniform that was never given to me or even told where to get it. Got little initial help. Ive been to other schools that I completed for IT related certs and never was I this confused walking into my first week of school. If i could go back on my decision I would.
