Feel really safe visiting the service department reception here once inside. For protection against the caronavirus screen, sanitizer, hand wipes all in place. Keypad, car key all sanatised prior to customer handling.
Used these for many years, When I went to pay they added a five pound charge for spraying disinfectant on my car door handle making a right total mess of my car. For five quid I was expecting a little better. After I visited B&q lady disinfected my trolley and made alot better job of it. Did she charge me five pounds no as they value your custom and is this not what we all do nowadays for free as a business. Absolutely disappointed.
I had a MOT done in early december by express service, the car failed on a few small bits which was completely acceptable, but what wasn't was the service managers attitude towards it, he presented me with a quote for almost 300 for parts totalling 50, when i asked to take it away he talked loudly to his trainee colleague about it being illegal to drive and how i must be told, all making me seem like a simpleton. Move forwards to the retest, i had done all the work recommended by the failure to be asked by the MOT tester to come through to the garage, he was a very nice chap and pointed out my headlights were faulty and would need replacing for a pass? when only one week earlier they needed a 15.00 adjustment to get them through, so i had to rush around in early december to find two brand new headlights which luckily i found nearby to get a pass, once returned the attitude service manager was back again and did not take kindly to me for some reason, the car was retested and i will still charged another 15 to adjust my brand new headlights, i wasn't asked, it was simply done. To cap it all i was charged 5 to clean my car keys? most shops and establishment put this on for free as required under covid rules. So what has happened to Express service? ive taken my cars to them for maybe 10 years, i will not ever again, they have become money grabbing and have a terrible attitude towards customers who understand a little about basic car repair.
Great service, very quick and friendly. Highly reccomend.
