What an amazing dining experience! The food was exquisite; perfectly executed, thoughtful, and most importantly, delicious. My husband is a very fussy eater and was nervous about the tasting menu, but genuinely loved the experience and enjoyed the dishes. The service was impeccable, with staff being attentive and knowledgeable without being invasive of our space. I highly recommend sitting at the chefs table, getting the wine pairing, and adding on the cheese course. We have been raving to anyone who listens about how much we enjoyed dining at EXP and are making plans with friends and family to come back again and again and again.

Loved it!!!! Even though there are many courses, the serving sizes all reasonable sized (but packed full of flavours) so you can enjoy your sitting without being too full by the end. We opted for matching wines and that was just perfection! Highly recommend
Such a great meal experience! We visited for an anniversary and were not disappointment. Each dish was a delight, with lovely matching wines. We even had a chance to chat with the head chef/owner who makes the effort to serve some of the dishes throughout the night. Do yourself a favour and say yes to every additional option on offer as well. Unlike some degustations we've experienced, we left this one well fed (but not over full). Highly recommended and will definitely be back again!
Fabulous dinner experience - wow and with lovely matching wines. Service was sensational - staff knew all about the food and wine and was great to watch the kitchen do it’s magic in front of you. Perfect night out.
Exceptional food and service. They called ahead to discuss my dietary requirements, the chef explained each dish while serving it and they even brought out a small lamington for my friends birthday. You can tell they are passionate about what they do. Best food in the Hunter Valley. We will be back!

Delicious food (so good) and great friendly warm welcoming staff and Chef. 3rd visit. Would definitely recommend. (Did prefer the original location away from the General store)
Thank you so much for our wonderful dinner on Saturday night, you were so accommodating with my wife's dietary requirements and went above and beyond to make sure she wasn't left wanting. Your staff were fantastic and I will highly recommend you to friends and family because we thoroughly enjoyed every bite. I just wish there was more of your amazing sour dough to take home !!
