Angii Gardner a great nurse took bloods today 28/10/20 was great didnt feel a thing great reassurance given. Doctor Bossano is my doctor he has been for a few years he is patient, kind, reasuring and I won't ever change my doct St Leonards doctors is such a nice surgery all the staff are friendly and helpful. Went there again today 15.2.21 to see doctor Bossano even though in lockdown in place he was professional kind ,reasuring and gave me the time I needed. He was wearing PPE ,hand gel at reception and safe seating etc. The surgery are doing a great safe job during this pandemic.

I went to the practice to have my flue vaccine and a heart check i also have COPD .I wore a mask even though its hard to breathe for me, i went to the door way and spoke through the intercom said to the receptionist i had an appointment with the nurse ,she said wait there it was quite cold i just dropped my mask to breathe in some fresh air, I just coughed once and pulled my mask up i seen the nurse coming to the door with a syringe in her hand ,she told me she will give me the flue vaccine but cant do my heart check, I asked her why she said you coughed, that bloody receptionist phoned the dr and told him i coughed, i explained to the nurse why i coughed, she said I'll go and speak to the dr, she came back and said the dr said no anyway she gave me the vaccine I've got to go again on the 10th this month hope i don't cough you'd think the receptionist tells the drs what's wrong with you, I've never thought before when I've seen the receptionist and they ask what's wrong you , it's none of their business I made the announcement with the Dr .nobody replies to your reviews anyway

I have been at this practice my whole life after moving out of the area a few years ago my old doctor, dr Evans said he was happy for me to stay registered me as an out of area patient. Unfortunately he has left now. And this saddens me to say this surgery has gone down hill since .ive always been fit been healthy but in the last few years ive not been feeling great. I feel like the doctors ignore what im saying and gives the minimum of care possible..whether this is because im an out of area patient.i have been ask numerous time by the receptionist am i going to leave.and when your feeling poorly this is the last thing you want to hear !! Also now we our lucky as we can read our test result online .and read what the hospital labs suggest for treatment .. My doctor also ignores them i no its time to leave ..so advice would be to learn to listen to your patients and have some compassion. The only good thing is the nurses.

Moved to Exeter a week before lockdown commenced. Reasonably, St Leonard's have said they were not accepting new applications. So we waited. Still, moving into stage 3 of the Covid-19 recovery and they are not answering requests I have made to register, they will not answer the phone, I've tried at least a dozen times, the pharmacy have no clue about the doctors surgery and you are not allowed to enter the surgery without an appointment. My partner requires a check up for a repeat prescription, that she is now on her last week of the prescription and they have said you will not get an appointment go back to your old surgery. Well done we will just drive back to London then shall we? I know there is a lot of pressure on the health care system currently but the Karen on reception seems to be so disengaged with humanity, give the job to someone who cares

Little compassion, always in a hurry. I wouldn't recommend it to anybody.
