We hired two of the larger Roller Team motorhomes from South West Camper Hire and would highly recommend them. From first contact to end of hire Julian was very friendly, helpful, efficient and professional in all aspects of the rental. The vehicles were in excellent condition and equipped with all we needed. First time hiring a motor home, Julian made the entire process very user friendly, very informative and beyond what we had expected, a very genuine honest person. Our first impression was: brilliant communication and great motorhomes at very competitive rates. When we collected Kingsley just before Christmas, things got even better. Julian is professional and friendly and the whole process of handover was very easy. The motorhome was sparkling clean and spotless. We had everything we needed for the comfortable Christmas away and even beautiful decorations. Many thanks to brilliant Lesley who prepared the motorhome for us, we really appreciate all the little final touches. Exceptional cleanliness added even more luxury to this brilliant van- a true hotel on wheels. Kingsley has brilliant insualtion and heating is very efficient- great motorhome for winter trips. Interior is bright and airy and when it gets dark there are plenty of beautiful lights creating homely ambience. The main bedroom was my favourite area and bed was super comfy. After vigorous walks on coast path it was amazing to come back to a warm van, have a hot shower and snuggle up with a book and a cuppa. It was our best Christmas in life. Among other places we stayed at Morwhellam Quay which offers simple camping facilities, but as we had everything on board, we didn't mind. We parked right by the historical quay and had all the site to ourselves and our dog. The Ship Inn onsite served amazing Christmas lunch we had by the roaring fireplace. We will be booking again and cannot wait for next adventures! From now on this is our Christmas plan: stress free, luxurious stay in a hotel on wheels and no cooking or washing up! Just back from a long weekend hiring a Roller Team 590 from Julian. The pick up and drop off were quick and hassle free and the van was in pristine condition with every detail thought of in terms of what you might need for your trip. The location near Exeter is the perfect starting point for a tour of the South West and a great site for your first night is Woodovis near Tavistock (pool. jacuzzi, cheap:-)) Thanks Julian and hopefully see you again next year for a longer trip.
