I cannot comment on the actual mediation service because I haven't even spoken to a mediator yet, but I will say I have had 2 wasted evenings where I have waited around for hours for a call that hasn't happened. And that is after umpteen emails and sorry there is no-one here to take your call messages just to set up the appointments - that don't happen! We all have busy lives and no doubt the mediation service is in high demand but I need mediation to help smooth things out not push me over the edge. The first reviewer is correct you can't give a no star rating.

They are only interested in making money out of you. No mercy no humanity at all. If you are going through family problem please avoid this place, they will stress you out more

I have only given 1 star as I can't input 0. I contacted NFM in may, and they are still trying to decide if my ex can have legal aid 5 months later!!!! So I paid for the first session for us both which is 350 booked an appointment with the mediator for a month's time and NFM can't allow it to go ahead as they still have to sort things. If you call and ask for an update they say sorry the person you need is on holiday, or dropping their children off at school call around 11 and they might be in!!!! Every time and they never call back or email. Even the mediator can't get any response from them. Very very very poor service

If you do need family mediation go with a national charity that is also the country's leader in training of mediators. They do care at NFM and they do their utmost to guide people through a difficult and painful process.

They're extremely amateurish and you'll never get your money back. Just go to a solicitor instead..
