Lovely 45 minute stroll around water. Boardwalks, stairs and monkey bars available. Also public bathrooms. The library has little posters with a children's story. We saw squirrels, ducks and geese. Was a little slippery. For avid walkers, there are additional trails available. Small tobagon hills suitable for young children.

Nice easy hike around a little river and a small dam reservoir. Very well maintained trails. There are a lot of bridges and boardwalks, together with an inordinate amount of benches! There's also a clever idea for kids - every few hundred metres or so, there is another page of a children's book posted. Walk the entire trail, and you get to read the whole book. Great concept! As there are a lot of suburbs around the area, there are a fair number of other walkers, families and dogs on the trail. Also, this is a rather unique area. According to Wikipedia, it is one of the few places in North America that has a population of white squirrels! I didn't know that when I was hiking, and must admit I did a double take when I saw a bunch of white squirrels running around.

Excellent place to go for a walk!! Absolutely lovely. Mostly flat. Easy walk for all ages. Good for kids and older folks. Quiet and peaceful. Highly recommended! The path is basically all gravel so it doesn't 100% feel like walking in the woods vs if it were dirt (ie. less man-made) but it's still a nice place!

Great trail with many different types of paths. Easy to Moderate. Lots of birding possibilities. Great spot to check out in all seasons. Easy access. Parts are stroller friendly and kid friendly with playground equipment along the way. West side is more \urban\ and the East ural\.
