I trained with Sensei Alistair for just over a year. He is a brilliant teacher and always kept an open mind. Students were accepted no matter what background they had come from and you were always treated with dignity and respect. A great place for people to come and learn no matter what skill level as every student was encouraged to progress and keep striving for what they wanted to achieve. Looking forward to coming back to train again with this wonderful club again soon would highly recommend to anyone

I have known Sensei Alistair Thomson and his team for a longtime and was around when EWRK was originally created. A true professional in how he teaches as well as his team with a really fun family friendly atmosphere where his students can go and thrive. Keep the good work up Alistair and team. Would highly recommend this club to all ages and abilities. OUTSTANDING

After coming from a shotokan background, I was welcomed warmly into the club and my own ideas and experiences were taken on board and used to help develop the younger students karate. Everyone is treated equally no matter your gender, age or ability; a fun and friendly environment can be enjoyed by all! Would recommend 100% to anyone!

I had been training at this club for 4 or 5 years I cant remember it was grate at one point then everything was about money money money and promises were being made and not being seen through also if you really want to learn at this club you had to be one of the favourites in the group otherwise you would get pushed to the side and left to your own devices it was like being swept under the rug. Also we would be promised protective equipment like mats and that never happen because the instructor couldn't be bothered or he and his wild would rather spend that money on there holidays oh and that includes the club money that you pay him to teach your kids this is why I left if you really want to learn karate and be treated like equals and have no favourites in the group then go to Links as they are nothing like this if you have not realised this by now then you should consider it as you are being robbed of your money
