I've never been to any other facilities besides Monroe and the day center but my experience with cocoon has definitely is 5 times better than Youth Care with is another organization for homeless youth. They always help the best they can with the limited resources they have to help you get what you need no matter what that is, such us driving license, birth certificate , affordable housing, Healthcare and much more although I may not agree or get along as well with some staff I was still able to come to mutual agreements and talk about concerns so that issues wouldn't come in the way of my stay, the only thing I wish was different is that I would be able to stay longer than a few weeks but that's all shelters in Washington unless you are eligible for a longer stay.

The mission is fantastic. Administration is spotty. Young people are grateful but are often left unheard.
As a person who has lived on the 3rd floor the staff do not stay there whole shift. They lock our food up where we cant get it when we get ho.e fro.e work. If you pay rent you should be able to have acsses to your things. Also car windows veing smoshed and broken in to. Also, peoe being jumpped i frout on colby . not gool. Couldnt wait to move .
A great alternative for homeless children from these streets, and they offer and have activities that slot of these locals actually look forward too! My boyfriend was a frequent there from time he was 16 til 20 and UTurn has a recording studio, with a man with skills that auto tunes or edits the music and creates beautiful end results on disc for the kids. It's amazing.
I stayed here when I was 15 and I think about it all the time. It was such a terrible experience, the staff doesn't care about you, they make you run around the streets of Everett I think it was like 10-4pm or something you weren't allowed to go back to the house during summer. During this time alot of bad things happened to me I won't leave in a comment. I truly hate this place, do not let your kids go here
