Went through as needed some warmer gloves for commuting and the Mrs wants some ideas for her next bike. Nice and friendly staff with one (didn't catch his name but was on the door welcoming) giving some good advice on what gloves to look at. Nice selection of bikes, clothing and accessories giving the Mrs a good idea. Another member of staff also giving her some friendly advice. Will definitely be back.

Given Evans cycles three chances and the third is the last. Now where do I start. 1. The first time I purchased a pinnacle bike, three months later they told me there is a manufacturing error and I had to bring it into store to have it sorted. They said it would be sorted within 2 working days... 2 WEEKS later the bike was ready. I was offered no compensation not even an apology. 2. I bought my nephew a bike. They sent the wrong one (mistakes happen) the correct bike arrived. The courier left it in the communal hallway in an apartment block (900 bike) When I opened it? you guessed it BROKEN . So I ask Evans cycles if they could use another courier instead of tuffnels. Their response, NO! 3. Took my commuter bike in for a bronze service last Friday. They said I would receive a phone call on Saturday... Nobody phoned. So it was ready today (19/10) with only one gear wire changed. And the gears running terribly, Actually bad enough to damage my chain. The staff on front of house can't fix bikes. One member of staff took his mask off to wipe his nose with his hand. Social distancing was none existent. Is it any wonder that this company went bust and got taken over by sports direct, It certainly hasn't surprised me. I give them a year and they will be in administration again if they carry on at this rate.

What a brilliant service Josh and his team provide! They are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. As a newbie to the massive world of bikes I was given great advice and loads of time to make my decision. I felt relaxed and at ease to ask any questions and came away feeling confident with my choice. I really can't recommend Josh and his team enough!

The rear hub on my Pinnacle Iroko broke, I took it into Evans at Castleford. The guys sourced me a hub, got it fixed, and kept me informed by telephone about what was happening along the way. They even noticed the brake was a bit sketchy and threw in a brake bleed. Brilliant service, happy me!
