I have had an EV charging point installed at home by EV Charging Solutions. The whole experience from ordering through to installation went very well and I am very pleased with the final result. The installer was faced with a number of technical problems to overcome due to my existing electrical installation and he dealt with these in a professional and efficient manner. I would have no hesitation in recommending EV Charging Solutions to others.

EV Charging Solutions installed x3 charging units for our site. Very competitive compared to other companies looked at. During the project and the after the commissioning the service that followed has been faultless from Chris and his team. I have provided every bit of info and photos they have requested, finally they said all paper is done and booked appointment for electrician to Install the charger (after paying 149), he was 2 Hours late and only come to tell me that I do not qualify for the grant and only way forward is either pay 500 pounds or you will be charged 100 cancellation fee.paid 100 for nothing, in my openion they are scammers and cowboys , I would suggest stay away and use other reputable installers.Thank you

Cancelled installations twice and then asked me to backdate a claim to meet the deadline for a government funded opportunity. Their engineer turned up, then left and later texted to inform me that the cable run was too long and he would have to rearrange through his boss. When I rang Chris Barber’s office, his booking agent stated there would be an additional charge of 3 days of labour at 300 a day and an extra 79 for an additional cable to have the EV unit installed. Costs that were never mentioned in any of the criteria to have an EV unit fitted, either from the government offer or from them I found EV charging solutions both Incompetent and dishonest and would not recommend them further. N.B I would ignore the claims in the response to this review. Either EV Charging Solutions is blatantly lying or it is even more incompetent than I first thought and doesn't know its staff. Please note the screengrab from an email sent from Chris below that has the same phone number and location. Pathetic.
