Very nice cable car and a majestic view! Two things to consider: - please add external bicycle fixtures, it's quite uncomfortable to stand next to the bulky mountain bike covered in dirt. Or just don't allow them in. - please add a big print \one-way/return\ on the ticket, and explain the sales person at the bottom station the meaning of the word eturn\, it was a bit of unpleasant surprise when it turned out he sold us one-way tickets when we asked for return ones.

Loved it. Great view from the restaurant. Option to walk down the mountain or ride down with a bike. Please ask for detailed directions and ensure you have shoes with good grip if you do decide to walk down the mountain.

Book your tickets in advance. I really loved it. Great view and be prepared for an uphill hike (I wasn't). However, in order to pass the line please buy tickets in advance. To get there: get the 8 bus from Geneva city center and continue until the last stop. Google maps is not perfect in Geneva and it might not be able to take you to the right place.

Fantastic trip up the side of the mountain with unbelievable views across Geneva. Free parking at the station. Get there when it opens to avoid a queue. Worth a steep walk a few hundred metres up a tough dirt track to see the temple and paragliding jump point. On a clear day you can also see Mont Blanc from the other side. Breathtaking in more ways than one!

A must if you are in Genève. Beautiful views of the city from the top and with lots of walks around. The views as you go up and down on the cable car are scary but it looks safe. Best to bring some food and snacks for a picnic.

the reservation online is just @ catastrophe ! You get there they installed a monster complication due to PSEUDO Covid accessing cable car you have to walk uselessly far. service is not at all friendly.they do not inform people correctly about conditions ! communication ZERO ! I had booked aller retour .E ticket it was not delivered correctly ! they send it twice! you do not know you need to get a 2nd email which I never received!your ticked is not ok go back to counter meanwhile we leave without you.. I had to turn back to counter crowded only 1 counter open !they gave ticket duplicata......pff on my way home one day later I was refused boarding pretexting my ticket again was not valid! I would have had to pay full price again while they do not at all inform their own customers that return is not allowed on following day ! unfriendly staff I was very charged with my pet 2backpacks after a long weekend hiking They do not understand you as if you talk Chinese language: .no exception no way I had to exit and descend the mountain by foot thanks God I m alive ! Shame on you to ALL Workers of téléphérique du Salève ! you are not humans but robots without any heart no compassion just business oriented !shame on you !

A well-priced tour on the cable car. It came to about 30 USD for two. At the top, there is a small restaurant which we did not try, but there is a great view of Geneva on one side, and a moderate walk for 15 minutes leads you to a great view of Mont Blanc. I would not recommend it for anyone who has trouble walking up inclines. Kids would be OK, but arthritic knees or bad hips? Not the best idea, in my opinion. If you bought the Swiss Travel Pass, hop on the 8 Bus to Veyrier-Dourne. When the bus stops, walk another 10 minutes across the French border (no one checks and stamps passports) to the cable cars. But totally worth your time to see the lake - you don’t need to walk far for the great views once at the top.
