We planned this trip based on the reviews and weren't disappointed. On the way to the harbour we phoned Chris, to make sure the trip had availability. Once we were there, Chris met us and took us to his boat. There was another couple on board already. Chris introduced the area, talked about the trip, where he would take us and what we might see. Once we were underway, Chris provided us all with a pair of binoculars, which were very useful. During the trip Chris served us fresh coffee and biscuits. We saw plenty of seals and many different sea birds. Glad we had our hats, hoods and sunglasses, out at sea it can be very windy.

With friends and family I had a pleasure to take the Oban Bay Boat Trip with Captain Chris, we have enjoyed great views, wildlife, freedom on the board. I have chosen Etive Boat Trip based on the reviews and after the trip I can say that it was 5 star trip.

Chris and his crew were just brilliant! We chartered the boat for a family tour of the loch with kids and adults ranging from 3 to 70! it was brilliant, educational, fun and a really excellent way to see things from a view point we hadn't before. Thoroughly recommend! Great expert, fairly priced a wonderful thing to do x

We thoroughly enjoyed a super 3 hour trip with Skipper Chris, sailing up to the Connel Bridge, where we saw a seal colony, and then round the Isle of Kerrera. We also saw porpoises and lots of different seabirds. We learned lots of fascinating info about the history and geography of the region. We have 3 children aged 4 through to 13 and Chris was a super skipper and guide and was very relaxed with all our kids, who enjoyed the experience immensely. Would highly recommend.

Although frequent visitors to the area, we had never taken a boat trip until now. We were very lucky with the weather, and It was a perfect day for going out on the water. Chris was a great skipper and knew the area well, with lots of information to share making for a very interesting trip. Our party spanned from 8 years to 86, with the latter in a wheelchair, which was not a problem as the boat was accessible by wheelchair. Highlight of the tour was going over the rapids and seeing an abundance of seals. Highly recommended - and thank you!
