Busy but friendly. We tried their signature dish; La Potence (see photo of menu), chunks of beef skewered on a hot metal cylinder and set on fire at the table. Loads of chips, several sauces and some veg. Delicious & filling. Friendly staff.

Good place with typical dishes.

Of course the service was French, but luckily also was the food! Delicious rabbit, great steak! Generally friendly staff, but the bill was a little slow. Terrace nicely in the sun at lunch time, inside sufficient different types of seating. Would most certainly recommend!

Very traditional. Friendly service too.

Amazing atmosphere. But food average. Still worth a visit

Ordered the escargot as an appetizer and the snails fought back! As soon as the waitress put them down in front of me one exploded in my face causing third degree burns on my hand and forehead from the boiling garlic butter. A ton of boiling butter landed in my lap but thank goodness I was wearing jeans or it would have scorched my inner thighs and penis. I asked for ice and the waitress was very casual about it and took her sweet time. I didn't really give a damn about how the food was after that. They also still made me pay for them and gave no compensation. To hell with this place! I'm just lucky my infant son wasn't sitting in my lap or it would have burned the hell out of him.

Excellent atmosphere and wide Flemish French menu. Very good pate and nicely done meat dishes. My vegetarian partner had the local Marolles cheese which was a great experience. Nice selection of local beers and OK wine list. Lots of locals on a Saturday evening - which is always a good sign. A busy place, but the service was good natured and done with a sense a flair and pride that they were making a good experience for diners. Just over 50 for the two us. Oh, and the flaming creme brûlée was as good as I have had anywhere. Lots of local competition with a cluster of restaurants nearby, but definitely worth a visit.

We were a big group of people visiting the city. We booked a table at les trois caves. Even though we had a confirmation email from them they told us that we there is no reservation. They actually ruined our night as we couldn't find a place to eat all together!
