English menu is available at this restaurant. The waitress recommended some dishes, which was nice. We ordered Welsh Maroilles and veau steak with mushroom and creme fraiche. Maroilles had a peculiar taste, a bitter taste but the texture was very smooth and sticky at the same time. Dipping the fries in the cheese was quite good. I found the fries a bit soggy and overcooked.

Amazing French/Flemish menu. Great Staff, reasonable price.
Excellent local tavern. Try the local draught beer; it's very good. The staff were helpful and spoke English. They cooked us some excellent omelettes even though they were not on the menu. All ingredients were of high quality and tasty.
Lovely, authentic place! Waitresses are enchanting, we had really good food & wines. Highly recommended!
What a pleasure to stop by La Vieille France for a typical meal from the north of France ! The food is excellent and served in the atmosphere of typical Estaminets. I recommend chicken with maroilles or Carbonade with a French/ Belgian beer Booking is highly recommended :)
Delicious food - the Carbonnade was beautifully tender, and hubby loved the cheesy Moules - in a great location and fair pricing, plus the main lady who served us had a great command of English which is always helpful when you can't recall the French that you need!! Highly recommended :)

Very good food, made fresh, excellent chips. If you want typical northern french food, don't hesitate to go there, you won't be disappointed! Only drawback? The limited choice of beers
