Essenza Ristorante italiano

The other day I had the most flavourless carbonara I have ever had. I ordered one 3 weeks ago and wasn’t what I got in my last order. Not worth my money and will never order back here in uber eats or deliveroo.

Good Italian restaurant although they don't do pizzas. But pasta was nice. Mine (the one with the seafood) was a bit \dry\ but the rest were tasty. Prices are ok and the staff is friendly.

Always a great experience!! I enjoy very much coming to Essenza a real Italian restaurant for dinner today with my girlfriend.. food is always excellent, and great services and top quality of ingredient in Italian cousin respect! That’s always my N1 special place when I’m in London and frankly this restaurant is a little gem in Notting hill!

I’ve ordered from here probably over 50 times. The food was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, the last two times I ordered from here the food has been terrible. The meat dishes were awful and my girlfriend and I were so surprised because we were massive fans of the restaurant. Just now, we ordered 50 worth of food again from them and went for the pasta, thinking that was always good. No. Absolute embarrassment. It was no better or worse than a cheap ready meal. My girlfriend couldnt eat her marinara, saying it was rubber and they never used to add some of the seafood. It basically looked like a frozen seafood bag had been lobbed in and turned to rubber. Disgusting. I don’t know if they can get food from their usual supply chain, but if they’re changing their suppliers and serving this rubbish, they shouldn’t be charging 20 a pasta.
