Bought a slice of peanut cake. 4.50 for a very thin uneven slice and quite dry. Not worth it for the price Response to owner question: Is this not the same coffee shop by Gabrielle Hill beside the Golden Boot shop and across Robert Days? The cake mentioned was purchased today 18/2 at 12pm. To be precise the cake was beside the raspberry sponge cake .

I visited this venue as I loved the rustic aesthetic and how the bar opens up into the high Street for fresh air. The coffee was really good but I waited nearly fifteen mins for it, I had only ordered two drinks and I was the only person in the queue. Makes it poor value for money.

Super friendly and cosy place to grab a hot drink and something to eat whilst out shopping in Maidstone. The fact the coffee is organic and fairtrade only adds to the appeal.
