We went on 03/03/18 for lunch with reservation. They were kind to welcome our small dog also. Food was delicious and surprising. The lamb - OMG !! Service was very friendly and they also repeatedly asked us if our dog wants anything to eat, we highly appreciate that, thank you so much. Would love to return. Highly recommend it.

One of the top meals I have had in France (and I have lived in Paris for 12 years). Cozy, comfortable restaurant, very friendly owner/hostess and delicious food. Highly recommended.
STAY AWAY. We arrived at 13 o’clock today. Outside rain and cold. We are 2 older people. We asked for places, unfortunately we were sent out because we did not book a place (there were places available in the restaurant). They also saw that we were tourists. Service Consciousness - Zero !!! STAY AWAY
Impeccable, professional service; superb food; near Cathedral. Good quality:price ratio. Foie Gras, Goat Cheese Salad, & Lamb all excellent. Perfect portion size.
I felt lucky to get a table here - I took all the waiter's recommendations and didn't regret it as the food and wine were all excellent. The meringue \flotant\ for dessert was the puffiest and most delicious I've ever had, and whoever thought of putting chestnut syrup in champagne deserves a medal.
Excellent lunch had today at Esprit Gourmand, in fact one of the best meals we have had on our culinary expedition of France. The couple who own the restaurant could not be more welcoming, even allowing us to change our booking last minute without question or hassle. We had the menu de jour for 25, and it was Michelin quality food at that price. Close proximity to the Cathedral. Worth a visit. May be worth booking if in Town for a short stay.
My wife and I are senior citizens (70 years) and we wanted a restaurant near Chartres Cathedral for lunch. We found this delightful cafe around the corner from the cathedral and took our 50 something friend here. Food was excellent as was the service.
