First of all we need to point the fact that you are dining in a family environment, not just friendly. The lady, we assume was the owner, was really friendly and welcomed us happily. We were suggested to try a red wine from a closed by winery and it was exceptional. We had Lamb and pork with some potatoes and salad. Of course were amazingly delicious while cooked in a wood oven. Only suggestion is to book a table way ahead because has very limited space.

We were diehard customers of Mason La Villa in Palma but since it's closed, we went back to the one in Esporles. Famous for its suckling pig from Segovia and baby lamb roasted in a clay oven, the results are delicious. Spicy potatoes and salad accompany the meal perfectly, but not included in the price. The homemade bread is served warm with olives and pork crackling, the wine list is selective. La Villa is a tad expensive but you won't find another restaurant which specialises in Castilian roasts like the do. Good service and friendly faces, but don't forget to reserve your table a week in advance...it's very popular and not so big. Also, it's worth checking out Esporles, a charming mountain village in the Sierra Tramuntana.
Amongst the best suckling pig in Mallorca, in a traditional asador with a fine roasting oven. Great food, good wines, super friendly and homely service and very reasonable prices. Highly recommended. Especially as the owners have recently closed their other Mesón in Palma, and now focus their excellent talents, food and traditional cullinary skills in Esporles. Good luck!

Das Restaurant Mesón La Villa ist ein toller Tipp für eine überragendes Spanferkel. Wer Mallorca besucht, sollte nicht abreisen, ohne ein Solches probiert zu haben. Dieses Restaurant ist genau der richtige Ort dafür. Man bekommt ein wunderbar knuspriges/saftiges Ferkel, welches im Holzofen zubereitet wird. Dazu gibt es Knoblauchkartoffeln und/oder Salat. Ein kleines bisschen Hunger sollte jedoch mitgebracht werden, da hier große Portionen serviert werden. Preis/Leistung ist meiner Meinung nach optimal, auch das Ambiente mit dem offenen Holzofen, in dem die Gerichte zubereitet werden ist sensationell. Ich kann es nur jedem empfehlen.
Comida casera de excelente calidad. Sirven raciones generosas y son muy amables en el trato. Los postres, que son caseros, están muy buenos.
Especiades en cochinillo y lechazo. Siempre bueno y buen servicio. El precio en consonancia. Las mesas están separadas aunque no demasiado, aún así, como no había mucha gente estuvimos cómodos
