I visit many care homes in my role as a health & safety practitioner and regularly visit Erwhir Care Home to review their compliance & safeguarding of their residents. I often set my benchmark at 'would I send my elderly relative here' and I can confidently say I would. There are many ways that I could describe the management of care at the home and to name a few it would be caring, compassionate, reliable and safe. They are certainly a 'home from home'. I would highly recommend the staff, management & the environment here to anyone wishing to move their elderly relative or friend to a safe, warm and homely residence.

As an entertainer within the Care Industry for over 25 years, I regularly appear at over 300 care homes in Wales and England so I have a good knowledge of the standard available in the care industry. Therefore, I have found Erwhir a fabulous care home with fantastic staff. The care home staff are always welcoming and informative and only too willing to help no matter how busy they are. Erwhir is well decorated and furnished to a high standard. Sadly, my parents are no longer alive but if they were and I needed to place them into a care home, then I would not hesitate in bringing them to Erwhir. I totally recommend Erwhir to anyone.
Visited a few residents here over the years whilst there I have witnessed staff supporting the residents in a very caring manner. The entertainment that goes on there is fantastic. The place always appears clean and fresh.
An exceptional care home that outs the needs and safety of their residents first. The staff are wonderful and have shown themselves to be dedicated to their residents throughout the pandemic. We can't thank them enough for all they do.
I have had a number of dealings over the years with this care home, I have always found the staff to be caring, kind and considerate to the service users, as a visitor they have always done their utmost to accommodate visits etc due to my work commitments, even when it falls outside their normal times, they always offer refreshments and no requests are ignored or refused where possible. I can with confidence recommend this beautiful home from home setting
