This is my go to Tex Mex restaurant and the whole family loves it. Try the pollo Belen for a healthy option. They also opened soon after the 2021 snow apocalypse. I know the workers had challenges to deal with from the storm, but they still showed up to serve. We had no water due to burst pipes and a meal from Ernesto’s lifted our spirits. Thanks Ernesto’s!

The food was good, loved the roasted salsa. Service was lacking on the day my trio visited. It was also not busy. About 4 tables with customers. After being seated it took 7 minutes for a server to visit our table and take drink orders. Took even longer to get chips & salsa
Recently discovered Ernesto's a couple of months ago during lunch. I had the Carne asada with enchilada, rice & beans from lunch menu. It was delicious! Steak cooked to order. Staff friendly provide great service! Highly recommend!
Ernesto's has been my go to Mexican food place since I moved to Frisco. Love the flavor of the salsa they serve here. Great lunch specials and the margaritas are strong. Good prices too, especially during the lunch hour specials. Love the chicken fajitas as well for dinner. Honestly, I haven't had anything here I didn't like. Mmmm...queso.
I ordered the Jimador Burrito to go. I Got home and it didnt have avocados and the queso fresco was cooked!!! Queso fresco is supposed to be fresh not cooked. I've eaten this burrito forever but would of never expected the cook to mess up these ingredients. I called the management they said they would comp it, but they still charged me anyway.
