Interesting place with creative ideas. The ticket cost is 800 rubles, and 200 for visiting the special chambers. It's convenient for English or Russian speakers. It consists of 5 floors and separated into two parts vertically. There is a café in the third floor. The exit is from the cloakroom.

I’ll put it as simple as it gets: this is one of the best museums in vast and cold Russia. Don’t be shy and just go there mate. Don’t forget to try the cafeteria too.

Many different artists in 5 floors. Much to look at if you like modern art. Wish we had more time. Sorry the restaurant was closed, but they had a quite nice cafe' on 3rd floor.

Modern museum showing up to 40 exhibitions per year, including art, photography, installations. Very good place to visit with family.

First, be prepared that they do not have a single admission ticket, only a year subscription which doesn't cost much, but still... Second, the place is really worth visiting because of all modern facilities and rather bizarre selection of modern art. Third, they will take your picture and the cameras will use your face as an ID to let you in. So if you're not inclined to share your face with them, they don't have any other option. But as I said for me with all particularities of this place it was still rather intriguing to stroll through the exhibitions

I absolutely loved going here. So interesting to see Russian contemporary art. Organize yourself a guided tour. The guides are very knowledgeable and give so much insight. A definite highlight of my trip.

I really enjoyed this gallery and the mix of paintings, mixed-media and sculpture. Well laid out with something for everyone. The temporary exhibitions were well done and some of the content was thought provoking bold and fresh. Toilets were clean and getting to and from the gallery by bus was easy.

Very interesting museum. Tips: 1) buying an annual membership would be cheaper that buying a ticket for each visit. 2) nice coffee shop with a small outdoor terrace 3) souvenir shop is must see too.
