Easy to book a slot under the current COVID rules - which is in many ways easier than turning up to find a long queue, although the queue generally moves reasonably well. I’ve always found the personnel to be helpful. My one suggestion would be to have a dedicated container for anti-freeze rather than being told to put it in general waste (that is waste that is diverted from landfill) as I fear it will make its way into the environment.

This facility has helped me through two house moves (amazing the rubbish one can hoard) and multiple garden tidies. The staff are always helpful, even in these times of covid. Because of social distancing etc, queues are now quite nightmarish on occasion. Check on opening days/times before you go and be aware that you could queue for quite a while only to be turned away if you haven't passed through the gates before 4pm.
Just so easy to get rid of your refuge and booking your car in to a time slot
Sept 2020 - very long slow queues. Be prepared for a long wait. Once inside the system works well. The team are doing a great job.
Queues were very reasonable for a wednesday afternoon. Staff were polite and instructive. Social distancing and rules were being followed, publicly displayed and easy to follow. Was dreading going but turned out to be an good trip to the recycling centre.
