Very nice place. Before you eat, ask water to show you the restaurant full of Soviet attributes. The food is good. My choices were : Ukrainian borsht and Kotleta Kiev- delicious both dishes. Thank you very much. Waiter Alisher- very attentive.
Food is good but not fantastic. A bit too salty. Excellent service and interesting decor.
The restaurant is located in old City of Astana. The interior is quite original that takes you back to USSR period starting from pioneer or soldier uniforms worn by the waiters to weapons and statues of that era. They used to have larger space, but had to give some away due to less customers. They also serve charity lunches to the veterans of the World War II that is much appreciated. The food is quite good, but the service leaves to be desired. The waiters should be trained to be more attentive to orders of customers. Overall it is an interesting place to visit at least once to see that interior nostalgic to those who miss the USSR era.
This Soviet Union theme restaurant is simply off the hook. The place decor and it's multiple memorabilia trinkets take you immediately to Soviet times. The food selection is not bad and good presentation is top notch. This place is definitely a must visit of you happen to be visiting Astana.
Fascinating Soviet era nostalgia restaurant. A mix of genuine and replica statues, paintings and memorabilia. Food is generally good but not amazing. Good value mostly.
